Added lettering light in colorBy Shopper (West Palm Beach, FL) - February 12, 2021 The reason I only rated three stars is that the name added to the cross contains several letters that are very light, making it difficult to see. I'm uncertain if I'm going to try to darken it myself.... The cross itself is beautiful, just the name being too light.

CrossI expected it to be bigger
Inconsistent word coloringThe cross itself is very nice but the personalization looks very poorly done. Some of the letters are dark, some have no color at all. Disappointed overall as this was a gift for my God daughter for her baptism.
OkDisappointed the name printed on the cross is hard to read. Name should be brighter.
Not as nice as preview picture I have ordered 4 of these crosses for my kids and they all turned out nice however I just ordered one for my best friends baby and it didn’t look like the picture. The name and God bless weren’t filled in. I called and they sent a replacement and it still isn’t as nice as the ones I ordered a year ago.

Faded LetteringThe quality of the wooden, engraving and praying girl are all exceptional. I'm not happy with how light the lettering was stained compared the the matching boy cross I also bought. Some of the letters are barely visible due to poor staining.
SatisfactoryBy Shopper (Hamden, CT) - May 16, 2017 I received exactly what it looks like in the picture, however I thought the crucifix itself would have some more weight to it and be better quality.
Ok. Exactly as on picture. SmallBy Shopper (ALDAN, PA) - October 28, 2016 Ok. Exactly as on picture. Small. I ended up not using it. I ordered one with Jesus; nicer and bigger, with the date of Christening imprinted in addition to first and middle names. I didn't like this cross due to the fact that there is a girl where Jesus supposed to be.

Cross DisappointmentBy Shopper (Niles, IL) - May 8, 2016 I have ordered several thins through the Personalization Mall and have always been very happy with them. Unfortunately, I do not feel that way about the wood cross with praying boy. The lettering on the cross was only 1/2 to 3/4 filled in. The top half of the letters were dark but the bottom half of the letters were very, very faint. I had to fill it in with a ballpoint pen and it did improve but would definitely not buy it again.

Not the quality I was expectingBy Shopper (Markle, IN) - December 26, 2015 I was expecting to receive the cross I ordered for my granddaughter and it would look finished with some light stain. The cross I received did not look at all finished - it was practically unstained with little to no color to it at all, I am very disappointed but since it is a personalized item there is obviously no recoarse because I am not able to return it. Plus if I were to return it there would be no better guarantee the next one would be any different as when I contacted customer service I was told the color and wood is unique to each order placed.

crossShipped and delivered quickly, but the price for 4-5 day shipping was almost the same price as the item. The cross is nice but the engraving could be darker

Baptism crossBy Shopper (Belmont, NC) - May 11, 2015 It was nice and came fast I was just disappointed that for the money it was a lot smaller than I expected.
engraving color was unevenBy Shopper (Savannah, GA) - December 14, 2014 The cross itself looks just as pictured but the engraving is a nice even brown in the picture. The engraving I got is very uneven in color, part of it is brown, the other part is wood tone. It would not seem so bad but each letter has become 2 tone. When I showed someone the gift, they pointed it out immediately.

Cross reviewSmaller than I thought it would be. More feminine than I expected.
Smaller than expectedThis was adorable but much smaller & a bit more cheaply made than anticiapted.

Not enough room for nameBy Shopper (Lafayette, LA) - October 25, 2011 Love this cross - love the design, style, everything. But very disappointed that I can't order this for everyone I'd like to due to letter limits. If the size or letting could be adjusted to fit names that are a little longer (there are many names 10-12 letters) it would be perfect!
okthe engraving of the name was not perfectly centered down the cross.
engraving not centeredBy Shopper (Portage, IN) - August 16, 2011 The name was not centered left to right. The picture attached is not representative of what I actually received in the mail. In order to get the cross re-engraved and sent to me again, I had to email them a photo of the error. The customer service agent was very polite and accommodating.

Wood Cross for Boy looks cheapBy Shopper (Tomball, TX) - July 23, 2011 I am usually very pleased with your merchandise, but this looked cheap.
ok itemFor what I paid this was an ok item. It was a bit smaller than I had expected and the engraved writing was very light. I ended up coloring over it with a pencil so the lettering could be seen. The cross itself was very light. It didn't feel like a solid piece of wood. It seemed hollow. But, like I said, for what I paid I suppose it was ok. Wouldn't buy it again though.
OkayBy Shopper (Astoria, NY) - March 8, 2011 I thought this was a little cheap looking. I was surprised it was made from 4 different pieces of wood glued together in the center, which you can see from the front of it. The personalization looked nice. Overall, I probably wouldn't buy this as a gift again.
First time disappointmentI have ordered a hundred items from this company. This was the only item that I was a little disappointed. The personalized printed name is not as bold or dark as the "God Bless". I didn't notice that it is also a little off alignment (not centered) on the vertical portion of the cross. However, this is how it is shown online if you look close enough. It's still cute.
Nice but smaller than expectedIt is a nice item but it was smaller than I had expected.
nice idea, looks a bit cheapI loved the idea of of a personalized cross as a gift. In reality, the wood of the cross looks cheap and isn't smooth where the arms come together. The engraving color is lighter than shown and looks a bit cheap as a result.
A bit dissatisfied I was a bit dissatisfied with this item. It appeared that the name was not engraved properly and the letters were a bit smeared. The quality of the wood was not what I expected for the price and size. Overall, product was just OK, not sure worth the price or quality.

Praying Boy Wooden CrossMuch to my disappointment, the replacement cross I received wasn't much better than the original cross. Once again, the "God" and "Bless" were much lighter than the name imprinted on the cross. The Praying Girl Wooden Cross I ordered was very nicely done. Had hoped for the same in the boy's.
Overall happy but...I was very happy with this item, for the most part. It was shipped and I received it very quickly but I felt the item looked slightly cheap once I got it. The side of the cross was slightly cracked and the engraving was not equal in color, part of it was lighter than the rest.
Laser engravingI purchased this cross and was disappointed when it arrived and saw that the printing of the baby's name going down on the piece of wood, did not come out as dark as the words going across. I was told this is how laser engraving is done. It doesn't appear like that in the pictures.
OkThe wood had a few tiny knicks. Overall nice. I was really disappointed with the shipping. Really expensive shipping; most I've seen than any other site and the box the cross came in was crushed. Really? Luckily, the cross seemed ok. So, now i need to find a new box for this gift.

Bless This Child Personalized Wood CrossI received 2 crosses. One was perfect and the other was not. The wood had indentations in it, and the shape of the wood was not carved perfectly. I thought about sending it back, but didn't feel like bothering with the postage, etc. Everything else I've ordered through your company has been great.
