The frame itself is beautiful just looks cheap without glass in it. The spacing is for glass so the picture doesn’t lay flat.

My daughter bought four frames as Christmas presents for her friends to highlight their senior year in high school. Two of the frames had noticeable flaws in the wood. We received them too close to Christmas to return them. I was disappointed because I have never had a problem in the past with the quality from Personalization Mall. It was just unfortunate that these were gifts.

The engraving (or carving, rather) was exactly what I'd hoped for. I only wish it had some kind of glaze or protective finish. It's such an awesome and personal gift, but it looks a tad bare... unfinished.
