I am very impressed with this product. It is an actual REAL fishing lure, not some gimmicky one. It comes with a real, very sharp hook, and two split rings. This is important because some lures do not come with a separate split ring needed to tie the fishing line. If you tie the line without a split ring, it will quickly cut the line and you will lose your brand new lure (I found this out when I was a kid and have since known better). I bought a personized one for each of my 3 fishing buddies. They will love it I know. p.s. I am a REAL fisherman too, so I kinda know what is a good lure and what isn't. As for price, have you priced lures lately? They've gone crazy expensive, so this was a real bargain on sale! One comment I have is that the lure comes in 3 different colors, and each color requires you to use a different font. Don't know why. I would prefer to pick a font, even if it is one of 3. But this means you can't buy 3 different colors and use the same font for each. Not a real big deal, but still, I don't understand why the font is tied to lure color when all the lures are the exact same size and shape, just a different color. Overall, highly recommended!

It's absolutely adorable for any fishermen. I got it for my granddaughter to give to her dad for Xmas. He loved it! He is hanging it from his rear view mirror in his truck. The little hooks are sharp but like anything else you may need to be cautious around little ones. Otherwise it's a great little gift that's not cheap looking.

I was surprised to see that the lure was a little bigger than I thought it would be. The treble hook is a good size, the tips were not too sharp, I'm guessing they don't sharpen them because most people use these lures as a decoration. I sharpen them and my girlfriend used her personalized lure this weekend, she caught a nice size black Crappie. The quality was really nice, the top saying font is a little hard to read, my girlfriend had a hard time reading that it said, "Here Fishy, Fishy". The bottom saying was easy to read and she LOVED her personalized lure. Overall, I would strongly recommend purchasing one of these lures for someone special.
