We bought this for a young couple getting married. It is ideal for cutting bread or using as a charcuterie board. It is a little larger and heavier than I expected, but the quality is good and it should last a long time. I think it's always nice to have a personalized gift to celebrate special occasions.

The board size is fair. It not too small or too big. I would use the board as a cheese board or something of that extend just because it's really cute. This was a gift for my brother and his wife who live in England. They loved it so much they refused to use it. They hang it to the kitchen wall !!! If it was a local gift, i would have kept the box it came in and wrap it. I had the board in my carry-on that was checked in and the board was still intact and the size was perfect. I recommend this

The box it was delivered in was all ripped with the board being exposed. <br/>I thought for sure it was going to be damaged but to my surprise it was not. <br/>It’s heavy and the personalization came out beautifully. I purchased the stand since it is a gift. <br/>Don’t know why the stand was shipped separately.
