I purchased a keepsake for a friend to note how special her baptism will be (coming in May). I love the baptism keepsake!! It has her name, a cross, and the date on it. It looks great!! She will always have this to remember that special life changing day. It’s just the right size to put on the mantle, dresser, or even her desk at work. The encouraging words that are etched on the plaque are so special too. I know she is going to love this!!!

I had 2 nephews baptized in May and bought one for each. I love the saying and the fact it could be made special by personalizing it with the name and date of baptism. I am very pleased with the quality of the piece as well as the engraving. It is also packaged nicely to be given a gift. The only thing I didn't like was the large printed label on the bottom of the black box. While I understand the need for it, I think it takes away from the classiness of the box. I wish it could be a removable label.<br/>I think it will be a nice keepsake item for both families! I gave it to my sister last week and she LOVED it!

I was excited when I read the words behind my grandson's name, etc. However, the stand, or anything that holds it, makes reading the words a little cumbersome.

This "paperweight" was very well done...there was just enough spaces for my granddaughter's very long name and it looks rather elegant. It is smaller than I imagined and there's no way to hang it. I'm afraid it might fall over if left standing on one end, so laying it down flat like a paperweight is best. Perhaps it would look nice in a small easel. The verse written behind it is lovely, though the Bible reference isn't written on it anywhere and would be nice to have on it. Putting it on a dark background makes it easier to read. I'm not sure how my son and his wife will use or display it, but I personally think it's pretty nice looking....for a paperweight.

I was "iffy" on ordering this product, but it exceeded my expectations. It's nice and heavy, great quality. The engraving was done beautifully and I love the sentimental poem. Arrived very quickly and was nicely boxed. A beautiful keepsake for my nephew's baptism.

your picture in your ad shows that you can read the wording, only because you have a colored background. upon receiving the item, it is very hard to read the saying as we are not using a background. It's pretty, but disappointed

The item was smaller than I expected. I thought an item that was ordered by my church last year was larger than the one I ordered. I don’t recall reading measurements. Nonetheless it will be a nice keepsake. Received in a timely fashion & inscription was perfect.

I ordered two of these baptismal gifts for my two grandchildren. In the picture, I thought it was adorable. However, after I received them, I did not think that they were worth what I paid for them. The first one that I ordered was $34.00. Then, because of giving this gift to one grandchild, I had to order another so the other grandchild's feelings did not get hurt. When I ordered the second one, it was on sale so, I paid less money for it. The first one that I ordered, I had to pay $34.00 when the cost of the item was only $19.99. I feel that I got ripped off with the shipping and handling. Therefore, I feel the cost of the item along with the shipping and handling was way too much!

I was very dissapointed with the quality of the etching, with some letters in name very hard to read..Different shades of etching....Would send back if I had time and will not purchase through this site again
