This was a gift for my friends 4 1/2 year old daughter who had become obsessed with snow globes after watching Elf and Santa Clause Movie. She wanted her own. Of course she can't carry it around, but she loves it. Didn't know when I purchased, but the name plate is magnetic, so it can be replaced if needed.
