Engraved Parker Jotter Silver and Light Blue Pen

I knew the Parker Jotter had a good reputation, so when the son of a friend of mine was graduating from middle school, I wanted a gift that would signal the transition to the beginning of adulthood as well. This pen, so well priced, available in a variety of colors, engraving included, and from a company with a fine reputation, I ordered the pen. It arrived on time, boxed well. Looking forward to giving the young man this as a gift.

Poorly done. Unable to read it. Definitely not worth paying that price for the Jotter. Since 1976 I have purchased over 1oo Parker pens. They are a great pen. My 1st Jotter cost me around $1.25.
The engraving is so shallow and squished together that it makes it nearly impossible to read.
I have also purchased over 100 items from Things Remembered over the years and never have I been unable to read an engraving. Very very disappointed in this
