Engraved Silver Heart Locket Ornament

We have purchased one of these lovely ornaments for each of our parents. We just lost my father in law and wanted to honor him each year. We think this is a wonderful way to do so.

In ordering an engraved item, I discovered I had made a mistake in the wording. I called the customer service line, and the person who handled my call promptly solved my problem, sending me a corrected item at no cost.

I have been purchasing memorial locket ornaments from Things Remembered for decades. The quality and detail have declined over the years. The ribbon tied to the top used to be a thick velvet ribbon and there used to be a bead on the ribbon with the year. There used to be a beautiful design on the front along with a sweet saying. That was my all-time favorite memorial ornament, and I purchased one for each of my dogs and my parents' dog after they passed while they were available. This ornament is the nicest out there currently but doesn't hold a candle to the older versions. This can be engraved on the front and back. The previous versions could be engraved on the back and inside the front cover, while the front cover had a design with a phrase already on it.
