I chose this doormat because of the ornament. Our front door decorations are loaded with ornaments so it was the perfect match! I purchased this door mat for my friends and am very pleased with the way it looks in person. The design is beautiful. This mat is meant to be decorative rather than functional. Frankly, it's too pretty to wipe your feet on and should be used for decoration. It's perfect for my friends who live in a high rise apartment building. I bought this for my in-laws as a Christmas gift. The mat was very nice the colors really popped and were bright and beautifuI. I can't wait to see it next year Christmas with all her other decorations. Mats are very attractive. I chose to tell my recipients to place mat by fireplace. Mats aren't washable in machine, so I would hate for them to get to soiled if placed by entryway.

I got this for my best friend for her birthday. The production and shipping was very fast, which was good since I was a bit late ordering it. When it arrived, it was everything I thought it would be.

She loved it, and put it outside of her door. This worries me just a little, since it is very lightweight, and we tend to get some strong winds here, but, her doorway is protected, so it should be ok.
