I purchased for a friend who lost her husband. The quality of the throw is great and embroidery is very well done. I chose black text and it looks very nice, and shows up darker than picture shows. Love it much better in person.

I received this blanket from a friend in honor of a loved one who had passed away. I loved it. it is comfortable and I use it everyday through the winter months. In the summer I have it on the back of my couch. It looks very pretty there. I purchased two of these in honor of friends whose loved ones had passed away. They are also enjoying them.

Friend was very pleased with the afghan - I was disappointed I paid extra for the gift wrapping and custom card that was not done or sent.

Please know that this is not an appropriate gift choice for everyone. I received this item when I lost my mom, and it looked so much like a grave marker that neither my husband or I could bear to look at it. Although you might think the picture of a sample item looks nice, please consider that it is a completely different, potentially painful experience for someone to receive this blanket with their loved one's name, birth and death dates on it.

Like the old style a lot better

I have had to buy several of these unfortunately and the joy they bring the recipient cannot be matched. I will never send flowers again, The price is comparable with flowers but the quality of the blanket and its lasting qualities make it invaluable to me. I will always send these blankets so please don't ever discontinue them! Everyone that receives one adores it. I'm so glad you offer it. I also like the simplicity of it - most throws have a lot of graphics and words and the message gets lost. This is perfect to me!!!
