Surprised and bought my husband and myself these beautiful cotton blankies for "our" RETIREMENT Day 7/10/2020, which happened to be for both of us on the same day ;) What a wonderful gift for both of us. As you can see, my hubby took the engraved words "RELAX You're Retired" very seriously & well deserved...hahahahahaha....

This is the second time I ordered this afghan to give someone special. The first time was for a friend's 30th wedding anniversary, and I was delighted to see it offered as a gift for someone who is retiring! There is a special coworker who is retiring later this month, and I presented it to her when I took her to lunch, and she was thrilled to receive it. The quality is excellent and the personalization is beautiful. I chose her favorite color for her name, and an accent color for the "You're Retired" lettering. I will definitely order this item again. I was happy to give her something she can actually use, and she said she did that very night when she got home.

Nice looking afghan and the personalization was done beautifully. It feels nice and has a nice weight to it. I gave it 4 stars because it sheds. Had to throw it in the dryer on no heat to get the shedding out. I was giving it as a gift and would have been embarrassed to give it to someone with shedding like that. Otherwise, it was a very nice gift!!

Smelled funny upon arrival. And the fonts used are not my favorite, wish there was an option to select different fonts. But it's a decent blanket - nice size and weight.
