We got this as a gift for my son's favorite highschool teacher! It brought tears to her eyes. She loved it so much and has even purchased a case to keep it safe. I highly recommend !

I purchased this for my boss who was leaving the company, I was disappointed with the inscription, it was faint against the glass and slightly off centered, I was in a rush so needed to give it him regardless but I will not recommend it.

Though the glass was thinner than I expected I was very happy with this purchase. Please be aware this is not a heavy piece that you can use as a paperweight, but rather much thinner and elegant piece so suitable for a woman as well as man.

The hourglass is a great way to say farewell to a colleague or recognize one.

We ordered this hourglass for a provider to celebrate 40 years of service. A couple of things that I was a little disappointed in......it is very hard to read the writing on this glass....it would be nice to have the etching in different color or the sand in a different color. Also, I know this will stand up fine on it's own, but if bumped at all I think it would fall over VERY easily. Would be nice to have a stand to set it in for better stablization.

It is a beautiful gift. The only issue is that the wording is very light. I would suggest changing the color of the wording or the color of the sand. Everything else was great. The recipient loved it.
