I purchased this for my 3 grandchildren, all into sports, but also as a safety device for them to get help if necessary. Everyone at our Thanksgiving gathering enjoyed it and it got a lot of attention and laughs after all who has engraved whistles. One of the adult guest wanted one so I ordered another.

Good morning. I am pleased2write a review on the5 personalized whistles that l purchased as gifts. Many of the women in my family work late over n2 the night & none of them carry weapons. If a unfortunate incident occurs & you see a assailant hurting someone, or a suspicious individual appears 2b coming towards u, BLOW YOUR WHISTLE! You need someone's attention ASAP for a personal need or a emergency, BLOW THE WHISTLE! Hang it around ur rear view mirror.

I'm disappointed. I bought this for a friend to use on his boat. The whistle is lovely and the engraving is great. However, it's not loud enough. A whistle is to catch someone's attention. The only attention this whistle will get is that of others on the boat. Bottom line is "It's lovely, but does not do the job."

My past experience with life has included always carrying a whistle (whether walking, driving to the mall or grocery store, falling, etc.) thanks to the advice of peace officers. If in danger, blow your whistle for attention to attract attention for help. No one pays attention anymore to vehicle alarms sounding, but constant whistle blowing will indeed bring attention and help.

So far, so good. Recieved the item. Is as described. Daughter bought as a graduation gift for her fellow Drum Majors. Haven’t had it long enough to say whether or not they will tarnish. As of now, it is a great littl gift with a little security going off to college. It is silver - bad lighting in my house.

These keychain whistles made great gifts for my daughter's softball coaches, they loved them. I personalized one side with the year and league name and the other side with their name. Perfect and meaningful, they will never forget this season. Also, the were shipped the day after I placed my order which was very nice - quick delivery. I was very pleased with the product.

I bought this whistle as a gift for a very special person in my life who began his coaching career this year. I haven't given it to him yet, but as an athlete I can say that this whistle is perfect for any coach. The engraving was much prettier in person than as depicted on the website.

I love it but I think the letters could be more pronounced - it's kind of hard to see

I was pleased w/ the finish and quality of the whistle, but the engraving was a little faint, and the small ring between the large keyring and the body of the whistle was a little cheap(flimsey). I would change this myself on my own dime.

This is a wonderful item. My father is very active and he is in a wheelchair. He loves going in the woods and this whistle will be a big help if he gets stuck out there. I purchased this whistle 4 years ago for him and he wears it everyday. It stopped working last year (grand kids fault) but he still wears it. It is still new and shiny looking 4 years later. I decided to get him a new one this Christmas. Hopefully he will keep the grand kids off the new one.

I bought this last week for my nephew who just became a Police Officer. Had it engraved and was very excited to give it to him. He was over-joyed with the gift!
