I have purchased other items and been very satisfied. I have to look thru the glass and hold it just right to see the monogram. I contacted customer service thinking maybe the etching was reversed. A picture was requested and I emailed one. I did receive a phone message that the way the stopper was engraved was correct. It was light and could not be made any darker. Also, that if I put it on a white surface, it would be hard to see. But if I put it on a dark surface I could see it better. The picture on the website shows it clearly. I purchased this for a gift and I am disappointed.
