It turned out perfect! The engraving is nice and it's great quality. Definitely has an old school photo album feel to it. I love it and I think the person receiving it will love it, too!

The cover and back of the photo album is wood. The personalized portion was exactly what I wanted. The inserts for the pictures are the typical thin, plastic sleeves that won't hold up well overtime if the pictures are taken out and moved, but if left alone, it should be fine.

I purchased this for a German exchange student who stayed with our family for 2.5 weeks. It is very-well crafted (it had her name, dates she was here and with love from us) and the covers are carved wood in the front and wood in the back. I highly recommend this item.
