I ordered these towels as a way to help my granddaughters (2 yrs and 6 yrs) feel welcome and celebrated when they come for their annual visit. I think they are going to totally love them. The towel itself is probably only 50% functional as a drying agent since the printed side is a type of velour and not particularly absorbent. The "loopy" side is thin, but again, these are not for everyday use and I believve the girls will be thrilled whenever they visit to each have their very own towels.
