Most available signs are rustic in appearance. I wanted a substantial sign my 6 year old grandson could place on the door or hang on a wall in his room. I searched to find a sign with a solar system theme to coordinate with his decor but couldn't. The sign needed to be colorful, personalized and sturdy. This sign met all 3 criteria. I prefer raised letters but a 5 year old won't know the difference especially when he notes the sign has his name on it. It is nicely proportioned, no sharp edges and a fun conversation piece.
