 Cute gift- cheap lockI got a couple of these boxes for gifts for 7 year old twins. From the description I expected they would need the key AND combination to open them (making them more private). The combination is a single number. If you leave the dial on that number you can use the latch release to just open the box. I was disappointed with the universal "keys" after the 3rd time using the key to open the box the mechanism inside failed and the key just spins. Cute box though. Great for young kids.

 I expected More!!I like my little pink cash box. But I was expecting it to be a little bigger. Also the key lock on the box dose not turn right as it should. You have to play around with it before you can get it to work right. So all and all this little cash box is ok.

Cash box looks as advertised This small cash box is just as advertised in size and lettering. Other reviews mention that the key lock is flimsy, but this is not a safe, it's a starter savings container to teach young ones how to save. It is easy to open if one reads the directions, such as moving the switch to the side instead of pushing in. The lid pops up. The small size makes it easy to store in a child's drawer. I don't expect the box to last a lifetime, because as I mentioned, it's a starter savings device for young children. The color and graphics are vibrant and I have no complaints.

The personalization however could use an additional layer of covering over the sticker. I can see scratches on the sticker already just using it as intended - to drop coins in. So I think this could use a clear sticker or something on top to reduce the chance of messing up the personalization.

CASH BOX This is the cutest cash box for a kid! The secret code is tied to the handle and tucked inside the slot and when I opened it, I almost squealed with delight myself. LOL! It's adorable. Any kid who loves saving money will want this personalized cash box. It's small but looks like it will hold alot of money.

2 great and 1 dud We received 3 money boxes and 2 were wonderful. One was broken. It won’t lock, just stays open. Also the combination part doesn’t work.

great money box These boxes are great for kids who aren't big enough for a bank account and need a safe place to store money. All three of my kids have them. The only issue I had was that when opening these for the first time, the tags that contain their codes were hanging inside the box through the slit in the lid, so I had to fish them out in order to turn the dial to the correct number to open them.
