We bought this plate in honor of our 5th grandchild. We have purchased one for each of our grandchildren when they were born and keep them in our curio cabinet in the living room. It is exactly like it looks in the catalog. We were very pleased with the quality of the plate and the engraving. I've looked at other plates from other companies, but none compared with the quality of this plate and it is very reasonably priced. It is elegant and a wonderful keepsake for a parent or grandparent.

The pink surname on the girls plate is pale, and not as vividly visible as the blue on the boys plate, otherwise, very nice!

These are truly keepsakes. I now have friends who tell me their 18 y.o. (and some older, most younger) child cherishes their plate. One even took it to college to put in her first apartment! Hard to find the 'perfect gift' but for most people these plates truly seem to be a welcome gift that they can enjoy year after year.

I got this for a co-worker, it's her first baby. The plate is of high quality, and just plain beautiful. I selected the Buggy in pink. Forty years ago I found a plate almost like this plate, but of a lower grade of quality, and gifted to my mother for each of ther grandchildren. As the years passed the writing seem to fall off, with this one I have no worries of that happening.

I have been purchasing these plates for 35 years, and will continue to do so for all my Grands and hopefully future Great Grands.

Over the past few years I have sent this item as a gift to family, friends and acquaintances. It is always well received and much appreciated. As the child ages they come to cherish the reminder. The finished product looks as though it was hand crafted according to reports I have received. This is definitely an item you cannot go wrong with by giving. I do wish they had more choices for the picture on top, though that is a minor drawback, for an overall excellent, affordable product.

I have ordered this product twice now and have been extremely happy with it. I have received it within a week each time. The only suggestion I would make it to make sure the last name is at least 6 letters so it evens out with the first and middle name.
