The bag is very nice and the block lettering looks nice, but the name was embroidered too low on the bag, below the bottom seam and just above the black bottom. I'm not sure that it will be visible even when the bag is full. The lettering in this picture looks higher up on the bag.

This may be the happiest I've ever been with a personalized gift item. The lettering is stitched, not ironed on and the depth of color in the stitching is amazing. The quality is good, Carhart is popular with young guys. The Duffel itself is smaller than I was picturing...not sure how he will use it... Also, the personalization is pretty low on the side. If I were to order again, I'd size up for the added expense.
