Bought for a 16th female birthday. all of the engraving let me put her initials, m.d.yr of 16th birthday, name, special saying. only downside was you have to put something on each line - i didn't intend to put anything other than initials & date. it is very sturdy, well made. looks better in person than the site's pictures do it justice. very pleased, highly recommend.
