I have a family Christmas tree and everyone in the family has an ornament with their name on it whether they are alive or deceased. It includes my Grandparents, parents, siblings, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and everyone's spouse or significant other. It is my favorite part of Christmas!
