The adhesive backing is not sticky. I'm using these like loose pieces of paper. It's too bad because I bought it with the intention of sticking the notes to my computer since I'm working from home and need plenty of reminders. The cube looks like it was previously stuck to something? Maybe in the warehouse because the bottom page is frayed like it was ripped apart and then mailed to be. Disappointing. The design is cute.
