My family member has a 60th wedding anniversary this December, and this is the perfect gift.

This was a gift to our special friends whose wedding fell on the date of our first child's birthday. They both celebrated 50 years - one of marriage and the 50th Birthday for our child. Special ties to special friends. I gave it to them yesterday, and they absolutely loved it. The etching is done beautifully on it and it is heavy but not too heavy. Simply beautiful.

What to get a couple celebrating their 50th anniversary was a tough one for me. This ornament was the perfect "little something". I paid a little extra for the felt bag and the gift box but it was well worth it, it made the gift seem more significant and special.

Looks great as a commemorative keepsake! Christmas in July sale was a great time to purchase at half-price. Nice, thick beveled glass.
