This is my 4th grandchild and the last 2 frames I've ordered the quality of the frame has gone down. Very disappointed that it's a piece of plastic vs glass.

Thought this was a great idea to give this frame to someone who just became a grandparent for the first time. I just wish it came in better colors to signify a boy or girl. Most of the shades are drab and dull. Also hoped the baby’s name and date of birth was larger, as it gets lost on the frame, especially that it’s at the very bottom on the right-hand side.

Nice item but color slate is lighter blue not as dark as shown on website.

The writing was a little smaller than I would have preferred.

I like the frame, it's just not the material I expected. It's a piece of wood with a lament cover but I expected higher quality for the price.

I had previously purchased this a few years ago in wood and much prefered it. The colors are very muted and not really as nice as I would like to hold a baby's photo. Perhaps a nice wedgewood blue and rose color would be more suitable. The engraving is nice, but really dwarfed by the rest of the writing on the frame. The couple I gave it to did not even notice the personalization at first. Also the back that holds the photo into the frame was very loose and need the support of extra pieces of cardboard.

This frame is very nice, but I prefered the "When a Child is Born so is a...", #8720. You were able to personalize the frame with the name the child would be calling the grandparent, i.e. Grandma, Grandpa, Noni, Nana etc. Like I said, this frame is nice, quality is good, and I purchased it for my friend who just became a grandmother. But with the other frame, you were able to go to the next step with the personalization process.

I have ordered a ton of stuff from personalization mall and this is the only item I was not completely thrilled with! It's cute, but when the name came out it was a little fuzzy and the frame didnt look as nicely made as the wooden ones I have ordered before! The wooden frames are the best, I have ordered a ton of them and everyone loves them!

I was very pleased with the quality of this frame but disappointed in the color. The color seems to be misrepresented online as it is more of a lavender color than the grey that is shown. Would love to order another one as a gift but am not sure the lavender color is one that others would choose.

This is a very nice frame, of good quality. Just be sure you like the color of it. It looks just like the picture - mostly gray with a bit of color in the upper right hand corner. I found it a little too somber for a photo of a baby, but the personalization is nice.

The frame is fine quality but didn't look as nice in person as the photo did.

I've given several personalized baby picture frames in the last year and all the new mothers loved it. I just sent a new Grandmother the newest metal design which I think is nicer looking than the previous wooden frame. I have not seen the frame as yet but it was a hit. I think the frame will be more useful with just the child's name and birthdate...good move.

Personalization was exactly correct and quality of frame was nice too...
Problem with frame was the COLOR. Website shows a color closely described as silver. What arrived was grayish/purple putty colored mess. Not gift worthy. Contacted customer service via email, no offer to assist.
Contacted customer service via phone and was advised I could return at OWN shipping expense for credit.
All other items ordered in past have been delightful, this however was a miss.

The idea behind the frame is great and so is the writing on the frame but I was not pleased at all with the quality of the frame

From the photo, the frame gives the illusion that it is metal, but it is not. However, the end results were acceptable because of the engraving and it still made a "special" gift.

I love the idea of the frame and the colors are great, but the actual printing of the name is a little blurry. It looks very computer generated. I don't think I would order them again because of the quality of the printing.

I have bought many frames from here before, but not this particular one. Colors weren't what I thought they would be. For some reason thought they'd be a little grayer or bluer - sky with clouds, but seemed to be kind of pinkish - and it was for a boy, but the recipient loved it!!!

When you look at the color of the frame online it looks like a light gray. The white lettering down below shows nice online and the font was identical. Yet I was very disappointed in the color of the frame. It's actually a tan. And the white color font does not show very well on the frame. I use to engrave for years and I have no clue why they use white filling for the letters. It should match the same color font above. Was disappointed in this frame. The clouds and the rainbow did it no justice either.
It's very noticable and not slightly faded. But I love this website and I still plan to order from here.

My husband and I received one of the "Grandparent is Born" frames in 2007 when our first granddaughter was born. We were thrilled and have displayed a picture of the first grandchild in this beautiful frame every since. When our second was born we ordered another as a keepsake and were looking forward to displaying the second grandbaby. The lettering on the second frame is large and clunky looking where as the first was delicate caligraphy and pleasant to see. We are disappointed in the difference between the two, otherwise both are very nice.

This frame is a great deal for the price. I bought one for someone else a year or so ago and I think that one was just made better. I was a bit disappointed in the gray/dullness of the frame....

I thought it was more of a pewter or silver colored frame, not lavender. Not pleased with the color.

disappointed in the script as it is printed with the child's name & month of birth. Would not pick that font again.

I was pleased with the product itself...but the engraving under the picture was not centered correctly......which made the whole frame looked off centered.....but my friend (who received it as a gift) still
loved it dearly.

The concept of the frame is adorable, but the quality was disappointing, it's a little cheap looking, but given the affordable price it's a decent gift.

I loved the idea of this frame, and ordered it for a friend's parents. It is very cute, but the way the name is put on there makes it a little hard to read the name. Otherwise, a great idea!

I received this frame as a gift 2 years ago. The finish had a high gloss shine to it. The frame I just received is more of a matte finish and looks like it has smears on it. I like the old finish much better.

This is my third purchase from Personalization Mall and the first time I have ever been disappointed. The display picture makes the product's high gloss laminate finish appear to be more of a matte finish, which looks quite nice. When I received my frame I was beyond disappointed in the actual finish (which just doesn't show up well in the online display photo) as it makes the product appear to be rather cheap and tacky looking. The finish of the actual product just doesn't match the online display picture. Perhaps the lighting used in taking these photos should be adjusted to match what the buyer is actually receiving, otherwise, let the buyer beware. I am truly disappointed in the quality of the finish of this product.

we ordered these frames for all the grandparents to reveal the baby's name on Christmas. I was very disappointed when they arrived because, despite what the picture looks like, the frames are actually a purple color. This may not be a problem for some, but I was hoping for the neutral beige color that is in the picture. All of the grandparents have their houses decorated very nicely and I'm not sure they will want to display the frame in the living areas because of the color. I also had ordered the great-grandparent one previously, and it was beautiful and the color matched the actual picture on the website. That is why we ordered these. I feel like we wasted $75.

It was a fine frame but it's definiely purple and it looks gray on th screen. We hve a baby boy and purple was definitely not what I wanted.

I was a little disappointed in this frame. The color was not what I expected and wording does not show up well. I will not order it again. I like the other frames I have ordered in the past much better.

I have always had really good luck with the products on this site, however I was disappointed by the quality of these frames. I would not have spent what I did on them. They are very cheap looking and it looks like someone took a marker on paper to personalize them and them laminated it.

I have ordered many frames from Personalization Mall and have always loved the turn-out, however, I am very disappointed in this frame. The "script" writing appears as though it was double-printed making it very difficult to read. I don't know if this is a mistake or if it is supposed to look like this. If it is a mistake I would like to have the frame redone if possible. I can send a picture if need be.

I ordered a few of these about 6 or 7 years ago and loved them. However, I was extemely disappointed with the frame I just received. First, the quality of the frame is not nearly as good as in the past. It was not made as well as before. Even more disappointing, the words are horizontal, but it will only stand up vertically and has no hook for wall mounting. So it cannot be displayed and is useless. I loved personalization mall and am now afraid to order anything. Have all your personalized frames been reduced to this cheapo quality? I hope it can be replaced with one that will stand correctly, and hope that you might have some of the good frames left from the "old days."

This is the fourth time I have had this frame made in the last 5 years. This time the style has changed and the frame is not as nice as it used to be. It appears the same in the picture, but is actually a very cheapened version and even had a thin piece of plastic instead of glass to cover the picture in the frame.

Online the frame looked shiney and clear to me, but in person it's dull and the lettering is blurry. I was disappointed because we received a similar frame as a gift and it was much, much better.

I usually like the frames at PM. But this one is terrible! Very cheap looking and not at all like the photo above. I am actually calling customer service today to see about a return. It is really bad. Above it looks like silver...when it arrives it looked like I made it with my 4 year old at home.

The picture of this product is deceiving, it looks like it is a metal frame. It is not, it is very cheap and the vinyl wrap or whatever is used in the printing process looks very "grainy". I guess you get what you pay for and it was cheap. Would not recommend this at all.
