Picture Perfect Personalized Photo Ornament Customer Reviews

My fault for choosing the gold for the lettering, but the pictures I sent in looked great & were legible. Unfortunately can't read the lettering on the ornaments. I would have thought you would proof them first & let the customer know that the color doesn't work & can't be seen on the actual finished product. Now I have to see if I can write over them with a marker :(

I wasn’t happy with this one. It was too dark. But that is my fault. I lighten the picture & reordered. Pleased with the replacement.

I don't remember this having a red border I ordered this as a wedding remembrance and I think the red border took any from it remembering their wedding day.

This turned out great, just as I expected however I was surprised by how heavy it is. This is a Christmas gift and I am eager to see if this will even be able to hang on my MIL’s tree with it being so heavy.

I have ordered a few years in a row. However, the pictures on the ornaments this year are blurry.

So i love the ornament and the 2 i got here last year were absolutely perfect but this year there appears to be something smeared on my son's head on one side. It will not wipe off so it must be from when it was made. I love the quality of the ornaments and hope to continue to get one every year but i guess we shall see.

I have ordered personalized picture coffee mugs at two separate times. My first order came out beautiful. My second order was darkened. Make sure even though the pictures you send are edited and lightened, that you lighten them even more. Example * The color of a forest of trees turns completely black.

1 side was great. The other side is missing color from my husband’s face in the picture. It should have never been completed as it was.

I ordered this ornament but when I received it the coloring was brighter than the original picture which caused half my face to not be very visible. With that said I contacted customer service and they were great. They said due to my white shirt the picture didnt have enough contrast for the ornament. I sent in a picture and description why I wasn't happy they emailed me back and had credit my account for the ornament.

So all in all I would purchase again!

The ornament has a nice weight (doesn't feel cheap) but one of the two photos came out really dark. I've printed that same photo before and it's not a dark photo so I'm disappointed with the quality. The 2nd photo printed fine.

I like the look of the ornaments in general, but the photos were darker than original pictures.

Be sure to select the clearest photos you have when choosing photos for this ornament. This place does not have the technology to assess the resolution of photos.

I used professional pictures on the ornaments and was very upset with the overall quality they ornaments picture is blurry

Images were blurry even though I uploaded high resolution photos. I have ordered photo ornaments from this site in previous years and was very happy with the result but that was not the case this time.

The quality of the photo looks a bit “smudged”. But works for the price.

Cropping photos can be a nightmare ! Hard to get photo to fit AND avoid the hole for the string.
Need a more user-friendly app

Last year's ornament (from the same site) came assembled in that the ribbon was attached to the ornament. This year I had to put the ribbon through the ornament myself, which was annoying. Plus the ivory ribbon was cheap and thin whereas last year's silver tie was thicker and sturdier (plus it looked a lot better).

I've created somewhat of a family tradition of memorializing my grandkids' development by giving these ornaments. Now my daughters expect them every year, which I'm happy to oblige. Wish the image quality was a bit better; wasn't as clear as I had expected. Review very carefully and allow a bit more room at the top than you think to avoid having to re-order. Pricing changes almost daily during the holiday season and you may end up paying more if you have to re-order!

I ordered seven ornaments this year, and about the same number last year. I was very happy with last year's results, but not as much with this year's products. It seemed to take a really long time to find pictures that would work on the ornaments--all of the sizes were wrong. I did not have any problems last year. Most of the pictures were "fuzzy" and not very clear. I didn't return them because I had no more time to spend working on them, and it was too close to the holidays to start over again (my fault, not yours). They were "fine", but not nearly as good as the ones produced last year.

I have purchased products from this site before but the ornaments this time came blurry. As they are Christmas gifts I didn't bother to send them bAck as I didn't have the time. But disappointed ??

Previously, I have loved the other 3 ornaments I purchased like this style, however, this time both sides' pictures were blurry. The pink on one side blurred outside where the shirt ended. The program didn't say the pictures were too low quality to use. They're usually crisp pictures. If this was my 1st buying experience with this ornament I would not buy again. As is I'm keeping it. I wish we could've put text on it too, but that wasn't an option.

Only use high quality picture files for these ornaments. For the second year in a row my ornament looked grainy. I wish it would have showed me how grainy it was going to be when I designed the ornament on the website, then I would have used a different picture.

I have ordered new ornaments each year for my family and have always been pleased until this year. I ordered 5 and each one was blurry which was disappointing.

The ornaments feel solid and well made. The only problem is the pictures were somewhat blurry. They were professional prints so they should have been perfect.

I wish there was a way for it to tell me when a picture that looks great on the screen will be blurry or low quality on the ornament. They were ok, we still gave them as gifts, just not happy worthbthe picture quality. Looked great onscreen.

The ornament is made of a nice material and presented well in it's case. One picture looked great! However, one picture was off color and looked funny.

Price is great and service was quick! My biggest disappointment is that my ornaments are blurry! I realize that this can happen if the picture is zoomed/cropped to much, but the image appears clear on screen until you see the actual product. the only ornaments that were not blurry were the ones I did not crop/zoom at all.

Not too happy how picture is on ornament. Seems the top & sides got a bit distorted on one side.

I thought the ornament was a great idea. The picture that was uploaded was a good res image but the quality of the ornaments image was not good. It was really fuzzy and not what I expected. It also shows red dots around the rim of the ornament but that was not what was sent. It's fine but not as nice as I thought.

This is a quality ornament. My only complaint is that it is difficult to judge where and how much of your picture will be cut off. The hole for the hanger is right in the middle of my daughter's head. When I ordered it I thought I had adjusted the photo so that the entire picture would fit. I wish when the company was printing the photo on the ornament they had adjusted the photo.

I have bought over 45 of these ornaments and the last two shipments I have found that the quality of the pictures are not as clear as they normally are.

Product is properly made however the photos came out a little pixelated. I used a high quality image and it still came out this way.

The price was right for this, but the quality isn't as nice as I've received from other photo websites.

Ornament is good quality but the pic came out a with a little red hue.

This item was exactly what I hoped for: a small ornament that I can taylor exactly to what I need. But after receiving it, the resolution was significantly lower than the preview shown on the website, practically blurry. You're probably like me and want extreme control but keep in mind it's not as high resolution as the preview shows.

Its a great product. Only thing that disappointed me was that the photos turned out dark.

I ordered three 2 sided ornaments, each one had a perfect side and a too dark side. I contacted customer service, the representative would not offer to remake without me taking a pix of each side of each ornament and emailing it to her directly which I have done. Hopefully Personalization Mall will stand behind their quality of work, I really want these ornaments for my Christmas trees.
