Picture Perfect Personalized Photo Ornament Customer Reviews

I was very disappointed in the quality of the pictures. They were taken on a professional camera, however the ornament blurred both photos.

2 of the 7 photo ornaments I ordered were blurry, looks like a haze around the faces.

I bought 3 ornaments with my grandchildrens pictures on them. 2 were perfect but one had shadowing and overexposure on the picture, which ruined the ornament

In ordering the ornament the picture and proof looked great AND CLEAR. When I received the ornament the picture was blurry and not the quality I was hoping for. The ornament itself is good quality.

The ornament itself was good quality material but I was disappointed that the picture that was printed was blurry. These were professionally taken pictures from our wedding, not one off of a cell phone so I expected the picture to print at a higher quality.

The ornament was really nice, but did not print as I expected. The text was lower and almost cut off and the other photo was really poor quality, which is disappointing.

The photo I used was the perfect size/quality for an ornament; however the faces of the 2 people in the photo is DARKER than the preview page showed and much darker than what I can print on my home computer. I'm hesitating to even give this ornament as a gift!

Turned out a lot darker than preview

We were so happy with our family pictures we thought that an ornament would be a great way to remember the year by.

We loaded a high quality image to the site and fixed it just so. We couldn't wait for it to arrive!

When it arrived it was fuzzy. While you can see the picture; it wasn't the crisp, quality photo I downloaded. Disappointing.

This is the 4th year in a row I've bought these photo ornaments and this is the first time I've been disappointed. The quality of the ornament is great and usually the photo turns out great too, but this year the color quality of the photo was darker & more orange and didn't look like the original on my computer, or the ornament preview provided. If I'd had more time I would have reordered them, but I didn't have time. It has become a tradition to give this ornament with my kids' photo on it to my immediate family and they look forward to it (especially my 88 yr old grandmother who displays her ornaments all year long in her kitchen window). If next year's ornaments don't turn out very nice I may have to find a different company to make them.

This was a brand new digital image and I was careful about the resolution I submitted. The preview online was perfect (seen here). The actual item that I received was very dark. I was disappointed. No point in putting it on the tree. I guess these are nice ornaments if your pictures are very light.

Although the original picture was bright and clear, this ornament turned out very dark. I was very pleased that the Personalization Mall agreed to redo the item, but it turned out just as dark as the first time. I would not recommend this item, but I do appreciate the second attempt to make it right.

The manufacturer needs to work on their QA/QC, because the preview image was centered and sized correctly, but the received product was too zoomed in and not centered very well. It was okay for the money, I guess, but would probably not trust the preview positioning.

I ordered three of the photo ornaments ... all photos that were submitted far exceeded the requirements for resolution, yet all three ornaments look pixelated and of poor quality. One even has a dirt mark in the material for the ornament. Not impressed, but not worth the hassle of remaking since the quality the second time around would probably be just as shoddy ... this was a first and LAST order.

I recently ordered two porcelain photo ornaments. They arrived quickly, and I was very excited to open the package. One of the ornaments was truly beautiful. The other...wow, not so much. The photo was only barely discernable because the entire ornament had a reddish-maroon dark tinge over the photo. The original photo didn't have that. The version I previewed on the site didn't have it, either. If I had more time before Christmas to send it back and try again, I might do it, but I just don't want the hassle. I am 50/50 happy and disappointed in the products.

I was disappointed with the quality. What appeared on my computer when I ordered was quite different from what I received. Also, I thought the image appeared on both sides of the ornament, which it did not.

Very poor quality. Picture on the wooden surface doesn't work. The strain lines make the picture illegible.

These ornaments had a rough finish. The pictures were hard to make out and distorted.

Maybe it the texture of the wood, but my professional pictures turned out blurry.

The preview looked so excellent had the potential to be my favorite ornament that I ordered this year. But it looks so faded no shine to it like in the preview like someone didn't put the clear coat over it for that sheen like in the display image.

I was very disappointed with my ornaments. I ordered 10 and at least half are scratched and it looks like glue or something is on them that will not come off.
They are a picture of my sister that passed this year and were supposed to be gifts for my family.

Item looked a lot clear in the approved photo then what was received. Would not recommend this version of the ornament.

You sent to the wrong address and the post office sent it back. However I had ordered three earlier and they came to the correct address and I loved them

The review of the product looked good; however the end product was not good. The persons head was cut off quite a bit, enough where I couldn’t give it and feel good about it. I just chose another picture and ordered another one. Quick turnaround so that was good!

Both images were blurry and hardly recognizable.

Pictures blurry - can't make them out. Receiver was totally disgusted with gift and immediately told me so. Dog black / background too dark - cant even see dog's face.

I sent high quality photos and received ornaments that were not clear. This happened with 3 ornaments. Customer service said they reviewed my concerns and found nothing to be wrong. They would not allow me to send the products back and would not issue me a refund. If customer satisfaction is their highest priority and they won’t resolve the issue, there seems to be a big issue with their company. This is the last time I will shop personalization mall.

My ornament came out very blurry!!! I am very unhappy!

I’m not sure what happened because I have ordered these in the past and they turned out nice. I used our very high resolution Christmas card photo and it is SO grainy and blurry I didn’t even hang it in the tree. Very disappointed.

The ornament came out really dark and I can barely see the actual picture. There’s no border which is a little misleading when you edit your personalization so just be aware of that too!

I was not happy with cropping on this picture. The top of objects head was on the ornament holder . Was not not like that when I ordered. Christmas gift … ugh

I order an ornament from personalization mall every year. This year, I ordered the matte ornament. It is not the same quality as the glossy one. The matte causes the picture to look like poor quality. It is a nice size, but I would not recommend the matte.

I didn't like that when you put the picture in and doesn't show that the hole would've be on her face

Wouldn’t recommend. Not sure if it’s the matte finish, but all images were blurry. Used same photos at other companies and they were clear. Thinking it’s the matte finish.

the one ornament came out great the one with both kids has lines through it.

I’ve ordered ornaments for the last ten years so they are all the same style. This year’s photo turned out very blurry and brownish. I’m disappointed in the photo print quality this year, especially since I didn’t zoom in or add color treatment. I used the same photo for our Christmas cards from another vendor and they turned out perfectly clear and colored as expected.

I've been using this company for 6 or 7 years NEVER a problem ...but this particular ornament and picture didn't work.
When cropped on my computer and sample you saw the cutie piebow on my baby's first Christmas... but when I received the product....the bow was cut out. PM resent ...and still the same problem .
