The last few years, I have given these ornaments to my best friends and to my kids. Every year from now on, when they decorate their tree, they will love seeing their kids and family in years gone by!! Personalized and handmade ornaments are my favorite things on my tree. My teenage grandson had to show me how to change a photo to jpg and after he did that, I had no trouble making these ornaments!!

Our two year old grandson lives in Europe so he doesn't see our family often, especially with travel limitations. This Photo Ornament is a perfect gift for him to have on his tree to remember family members he doesn't live near. HIs parents can have him hang it on their tree and he can see himself with an uncle or grandparent. The photos come out really well and you get to see how the photo is cropped before you order it. without seeing how the ornaments would look in glossy, matte, wood, or metal, i chose the matte finish. It's fine, but i think if i were to do over, I would choose glossy. The ornament is otherwise exactly as described and i would order from them again without hesitation.
