I ordered it in grey vs tan. I also ordered frame. Frame was broken in delivery beyond repair. Customer service refunded easily and no hassle. The canvas looks great without frame too. I would recommend only first names for kids as longer names get harder to see since they squish them down in spot. I absolutely love this. It was my family anniversary gift. :) Shipping wasnt too long either to receive this. I dont think canvas is thin, but back is hollow just like arts and crafts store.
