It was bigger than expected. It was bigger than I thought! The paint chipped really easy though when I was attaching the hook and the ring. It was really hard to get them on. Otherwise, it's really nice colors and letters and size for the price!!

I'm Hooked Fishing Lure By Shopper  (West Saint Paul, MN) - February 12, 2021 I love the lure! However, it would have been awesome if the lure came assembled with the two rings and hook right out of the packaging. In trying to put the rings on the lure, it scraped and chipped the paint/finish off right down to the metal at the top and bottom of the lure. It's disappointing because it was intended to be used as a gift, and it makes it look a little cheap and used with the paint/finish already chipped off near the top and bottom of the lure.

Fun gift This gift is really cute it looks exactly as pictured. . The colors are perfect and the personalization came out great . The only negative is the provided hanging rings scraped the paint design off the top
& a little on the front of the lure.

Great Idea It was very nice as hoped! The spoon was painted on upside down for fishing. Not that we are going to fish with it that’s the only thing that kept it from being 5 stars. Great idea!

Fun way to say I love you. Loved the way the product turned out. Assembling was tedious and took a little paint off the top and bottom during assembly but it was a perfect personalized sentiment for a man with an unusually spelled name who loves to fish. I was pleased with his reaction when he opened up his present.

Cool but hard assembly The little connector pieces (loops/rings) were very difficult to connect. I even scratched the paint in trying to do so.

Super cute but missing parts I ordered this for my husband for Valentine’s Day. I was going to put it together for a cuter presentation but it was missing the little rings to attach the hooks to the lure. It was still cute and he still loved it but what a bummer that it doesn’t come with everything you need. I would still order from here again as that is my one and only complaint

Just as pictured Ordered this as part of a Valentines Day gift for my husband. He liked it, however in putting the metal circle through the bottom hole, it chipped it. So it is definitely fragile.

So/so Looks great but the bottom lettering could be bigger and maybe a different etch color? Its not easy to see other wise.

Writing should be darker By Shopper (Poolesville, MD) - April 14, 2019 I bought this for my boyfriend for a gift. The writing on it is hard to see. I wish it would have been clear like in the picture. The hook and rings were a little tricky to put on. This does not come put together. I had to use needle nose pliers to get them on. You need to be careful that you do not get stuck on the hooks too. I used the bubble wrap that came around it to hold it when I put the rings on. Again, I wish the writing would have been easier to read then it would have been perfect.

Fishing is my passion I like that the fishing lure is personalized. I just wish it would have came assembled. It was hard to get the tiny ring in the hole. It did scratch the paint off. I also wish it would have came with something to hang it up by. There is a tiny hole on the top, so I can probably find something to work. I would have liked that to have already been taken care of though.

Very cute keepsake This was a gift for my fiance; he loved it and has it in his office (won't use it fishing). The only drawback is that it does not come with the rings and hook already inserted; I found when I tried to do it myself I scraped some of the finish off of the lure. Also the hook is quite sharp. I had to ask him to put it together. Overall, though very happy with the product.

Nice gift My boyfriend was very surprised and loved his Valentine’s gift. He kept asking how and where did I have it made. He also said he would like to have some made for his sons with their names on it. Only complaint I have was having to put the hook together. I poke my fingers twice while putting it together.

Only thing is that you have to put the small rings on yourself, And it will chip the paint. It can be used for fishing, But better hope it doesn't snag on anything in the water!

Good Item is bigger than I expected which I don’t mind at all, but it wasn’t assembled. Meaning the hook and the rings to attach the hook weren’t attached, you have to do that yourself. But overall I love it!

Ouch! The quality of this hook was better than I expected. However, I am disappointed that it was not pre-assembled. I could not have gifted it this way. I cut myself on the hook a few times trying to attach it to the tiniest o ring, before I gathered enough sense to put earplugs on the hook ends. I'm still bruised under my fingernails from trying to part the ring and slide each part into it. Needless to say, this was a project that took up too much of my time.
