While the gift was a great idea, the white engraving on light green background is almost impossible to read. a little disappointed otherwise would have been a 5 star. I don't recall seeing an option to change the color on the background or the engraving.

This lure comes in its 2 rings and the hook, which you have to put together yoursrlf, and while doing so the paint chips, which is probably why it doesn’t come assembled. Pretty dissatisfied.

This was very cute but it was missing the hook. It was a gift for valentine's day and unfortunately now I can't give it. Very disappointing.

Wish it would've came assembled. When putting on rings paint chipped all off and i was very careful applying them. Looked awesome until then.

The product is great. The personalized printing is terrible. Printed in white on light green background and small lettering makes it not readable. I have already contacted customer service.

A little difficult to read the lettering with the color! Again, sort of appears as though it was “just applied” and not written on per say. Cute item, and does the job but was hoping for a more quality print.

My boyfriend loved this gift and it was pretty neat aside from the fact that the hook does not come assembled and it is SO difficult to attach.

I was very pleased with the product I purchased. It looked exactly liked it was in the picture. however I wasn't happy with it not being put together upon arrival. As of now it is still not put together everyone has tried in my house. the piece does not bend enough to fit in the hole. So I have a useless keepsake in 3 pieces laying in a drawer.

Liked it. It is same as the picture. But the hooks can have better finishing.

It’s a very nice gift, but I wish it was assembled or a different ring to attach the treble hook to the lure. The ring is so tight that it’s impossible to attach both items. I have proof of the difficulty as one of the hooks embedded into my finger. So be prepared to have equipment to attach. Other than that it’s very nice.

The actual item is absolutely adorable. But I was shocked to find out the hook was not attached. The ring was impossible to open to get the hook onto it. You can stab yourself if you slipped! There was no directions with suggestions on how to get the ring to open. I thought at one point I was going to have to ask my husband to do it...and the gift is for him!!! Just really disappointed. I never would have purchased the item had I known how dangerous it was.

I loved it. Everything was perfect except it came in 3 pieces. I expected it would be put together but it wasn't. The ring they sent to connect the hook and lure, was so tight that I had to use a screwdriver to open it. It was very difficult to put together. Had it all been out together I definitely would have rated 5 stars!

Shipping was very fast. I paid for the 2 day shipping and received it overnight.

I thought this item was very cute from the picture on the website, as my fiance loves to fish so it was very appropriate. I received the item and I was a little disappointed, as it is very hard to read. The background is a lot lighter than was pictured on the website, so with the white colored font for the wording it just blends in to the background so you really have to look close to read it. I wish the background would have been darker like the picture so the white letters would stand out and make it easier to read what is personalized on the gift.

My fishing lure arrived with the inscription on it but the lure was upside down. The lure is big enough to be the right side up. So I'm not sure about the logic behind that

But it doesn't exactly translate as nicely in physical form. The personalized message is cute, but aesthetically, the actual lure isn't that pretty. I give it a solid "meh"....

the fishing lure i ordered was cute, however the writing was very light.
you could hardly see the name on the top.
but, it is as real weighted lure. cut but i wont order another one.

My fisherman husband thought this was really neat. But its just a decor thing! Cant really fish with it :)

Overall this product was adorable. However I didn't realize it didn't come assembled and it didn't go together very easily. I broke three finger nails and punctured myself a few times with the hook trying to get it together. I would highly recommend that this product come assembled for the safety of other customers.

Love idea and one turned out and the 2nd was disappointing. I wish preview was clearer. Printing small and hard to read.

It wasn't exactly what I was expecting, but I hope will work. Was hoping to make his wedding flowers with it and then let him fish with it and it not sure it will work for either

Very cute. Hook is very sharp, got 'hooked' pretty deep in my finger. Maybe offer some little corks or covers or make if not so sharp????? My husband liked the irony. Lol

I have ordered these in the past, it’s such a beautiful gift for an avid fisherman but I was so dissatisfied this time. The rings and the hook were not attached to the lure. The hook is SO SHARP. I couldn’t give an unassembled gift so I had to put it together. In doing so it scratched some of the paint off the lure. :( this is what it was supposed to look like. But I got 2 separate baggies. One with the lure and another with 2 rings and the hook. It’s not easy to assemble either.

You can barely read the writing. For the amount of money I paid for it, I'm very disappointed. You cannot read "Happy Anniversary 2020"

The lure comes with fittings to attach to both ends. They are very difficult to put on and they scrape the paint off the lure when doing so. There is no way to put them on without scraping the paint. They should be sold intact and painted AFTER the metal pieces are attached. I would NOT buy again. Pretty dissatisfied!

The print dies not show up well disappointed

The lure itself comes as pictured and is cute but the hook is not assembled to it. I tried to put it together but the ring that connects the hook to the lure is impossible to open. Especially since I don't want to stab myself with the hook. I tried using a screwdriver and I even had my husband try to put it together even though it was a gift for him. Disappointing.

Lure is nice looking but it arrived without the hook connected to the lure! It was intended to actually be used but, in this condition, it is worthless. Very disappointed.

If you look closely to the picture the background is much more detailed than had hoped. More feminine than I would have anticipated. And much larger, pay attention to dimensions.

Item is a lot bigger than expected, its ceramic, and does not come assembled. FAIL! I was expecting this to be smaller, metal and come with the hook attached! They did not include the metal ring to connect the hook to the ceramic piece which is ridiculous! Highly disappointed.

Item as stated but no one said how hard it would be to assemble. spent almost an hour on and cannot fully assemble. I really would NOT RECOMMEND this item ! Shame ,looks cute in the picture :(

Quite honestly it was a waste of my money. I had a certain vision of this, and the hook turned out being huge and not even worth giving as a gift. The idea of it was nice, but I personally didn't end up liking the result.

The item is nice quality, but the closing personalization was not as indicated by the preview. The closing font was much smaller on the actual item and therefore difficult to see. When communicating with customer service, they indicated there was nothing they could do. VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED in this item and the ensuing customer non-service. I will choose to work with another company in the future for my personal and well as business personalization needs.
