I was afraid it would be cheap however was very surprised by the quality of this product. We paid for the expedited delivery however, it did not work out for us ( our fault we should have ordered earlier. We did get it the day of the presentation so everything worked. The engraving was perfect, the clock is heavier then it looks. We would buy this again no questions asked.

 Writing is very lightIt’s a beautiful clock for my brother’s retirement however the writing is so light that it’s hard to read. The writing is white. I do love it though and that’s the only reason I gave it 4 stars.

It has good weight and the inscription was correct and well etched. I hadn't realized the clock also has an alarm, so that was a nice surprise. Just be sure to add the AA battery before wrapping/giving (that's why there were only 4 stars instead of 5). I would definitely recommend this product if you're looking for a memorable retirement gift that the recipient will cherish.

My only concern is the battery compartment - the hinge seems a bit touchy and I'm worried about it holding up. Otherwise, the clock and the engraving were beautiful. Also, the turnaround time has been exceptional!
