Alderwood pen set Bought this as a gift. Very nice looking. Had a small problem with the first pen set sent to me but it was quickly and easily remedied. Only downside was that the pen case doesn't stay open on its own.

A gift worth giving By Shopper (Northridge, CA) - June 19, 2018 These were purchased to give as gifts to our customers. I would enjoy receiving this. The finish is classy and the engraving is impeccable. I only gave it 4 stars because I think the hinge is a bit odd. It's not very tight, however, it could be a way to avoid a broken hinge because it does open easier.

Nice graduation gift This makes a nice graduation gift, either high school, college or beyond. Reasonably priced, nice quality...throw in some refills and it will be used for a long time.

Just Right This pen and case was just the right gift for my kid's male teacher. We engraved one of his personal sayings on the the case and even though my kid didn't put her name on it I know he'll always remember that it came from her! We also bought the refills for the pen. I like that the case felt sturdy and the pen didn't look cheap.

Grad gift Perfect gift for a grad. The only reason for four stars instead of five is because the engraving on the case was a little lopsided. Other than that loved it.

Excellent Value I have ordered this product twice, a total of 25 units. Great quality for the price!! The turnaround time has also been a benefit.
My only feedback is specific to the two large stickers that are attached to the box. They are hard to get off. This forced me to wrap the gift vs. being able put a bow around the box. Very time consuming when you are giving multiple units.

Great After a very late delivery (like a week later) I finally received my product and I loved it.even tho the engravement wasn't properly aligned I loved it.

 Not ImpressedBy Shopper (Apalachin, NY) - December 22, 2017 I was not impressed with the product at all. The type is very light, I expected it to be bold, as in the picture, very hard to read; maybe I missed the BOLD request! The type on the pen is not bold either and not straight. The box hinges are flimsy. I expected a better product. 30.00 with shipping I do not consider cheap, but what I received was, and its a gift. I will not order from them again.

 Nice Pen and Engraving-Case Rough Edges & Defects By Shopper (Oxford, CT) - October 9, 2021 The pen was nicely engraved and the wood was finished nicely. The case was nicely engraved, but a deep un-filed, unfinished scratch on the front edge, several dings in the wood around the case and the unfiled rough inner surface of the case left eye sores in what should have been a perfect gift presentation.
