I have bought this item a few times before as a gift with no problem, but this time...the smell of the burning wood is too much. I have left it out for days, not much better. I won't be giving this as a gift. I love this store, just not this purchase.

My brother is a locksmith so this was perfect for him as a gift. However, it was too flimsy and smaller than expected.

This ornament had a horrible smell! Whatever stain was used on the wood key needs to be changed or a NICE fragrance added to it. I left it out for 2 days and then wrapped it in a dryer sheet till my daughter opened it and that horrible smell was still there but not nearly as strong. Otherwise the key looked good. I recommend not choosing the red like I did tho (mainly due to the smell of the stain)

Although the key itself looks fine, the entire package had a horrible smell to it. I had to leave it outside for the day to air out, and it still smelled a little afterwards. It was a gift for someone else, so the smell kind of ruined that.

Adorable piece but wished the lettering was darker

I was disappointed with the quality of my personalized key ornament. I had seen it before and wanted to buy for someone else, but it was too expensive. When I was buying another item, I saw thst it was on sale and bought as a gift for my niece. Don’t usually write bad reviews (never do), but I didn’t think it looked nice enough for a gift and not worth what I paid for it (even on sale). I apologize for the negative review.

I received someone else's item. Called customer service and they instructed me to email them a photo, which I did. I received the second one and it was correct. Cute item and they did resolve their error. Just was time consuming.

I’m a Realtor and ordered 5 of these for some of my new homebuyers. One of them was broken because they are very thin. While the engraving is super cute, the quality of the actual key itself, is just too thin & delicate. Definitely overpriced at $9.
They did rush me a new one to replace the broken ornament. The customer service is great! I was just a bit disappointed in the product.

The ornament is a great idea for a new home owner and it looks wonderful, however it is very delicate and wonder how long it will last year after year.

I noticed the wood is a little warped. Otherwise, it's just like the picture.

My wooden key ornament arrived broken in 3 pieces. I was really upset because I wanted it for my Christmas tree! However, customer service was good about getting a new one sent out to me at no charge. I suggest calling instead of waiting on an e-mail response. Ornament #2 wasn't broken, thank goodness. It is a nice ornament, but a little too pricey for what it is.

Print is to light. Maybe use another color.

The words are a little faded, although I had the maximum amount of letters on it.

I ordered this key ornament for my daughter for their first Christmas in their new home. I was very disappointed in the key that I received. It does not look like the photo above at all. The key itself is a very dull back color and the gold coloring of the letters is very light. I doubt that the wording will be readable when the key is hanging on the tree. I hope that my daughter will be able to go over the writing with a brighter gold paint that will make the letters stand out more. I would not order this product again.

The red maple is a poorly done paint over a cheap wood. This did not meet my expectations. Would not recommend

Cheaply made, love all the ornaments I ordered over years, but disappointed in this one.

I have bought this item as a gift for my clients, however everywhere there is your company logo? I paid for the gift box $5 so that i can write something however there is also a big sign of your company, the pouch also has a big sign of your company, it feels Personalization Mall is giving a gift and having advertisements done at our cost.

It’s made with a light balsa-like wood and poorly etched/engraved. Not the usual stellar product you can expect from Personalization Mall!

the only reason my review is so low....i thought this was a larger (much larger) wooden plaque...my fault for not reviewing item closer...had intentions of it going on a kitchen wall....well, will save for next Christmas and send as the ornament it was intended to be.

I was a little disappointed when I received this. I thought it was going to be a wood like ceramic but it was made of wood. The wood was just so thin and it felt so cheap.

Well crafted. It turned out beautifully and graced our Xmas tree this season. Will purchase from here again.
