Lavish Last Name Engraved Slate Coaster Set Customer Reviews

Our slate coasters are NOT engraved. Everything is stamped or printed on. I feel that the word "engraved" should be eliminated from the name and description of the item. Aside from that, I like the quality of the slate coaster itself. They are not too heavy and not too light. There is a rubber "foot" at each corner on the reverse side so it won't scratch a table. These were a gift and the recipients really liked them upon seeing them. I have not heard about how well they perform as a coaster. I would have given a 5 star rating if they were actually engraved.

Beautiful set, amazing quality but one of the coasters ends had been chipped off. That’s the only reason I did not give the set 5 stars.

Beautiful look high end slate

The color, the engraving--all look beautiful. I was just a little disappointed they are so thin. I'm afraid that means they could break easily if they are dropped. Next time I'll order the other style as it's thicker. But other than that....love that there's little pads on the bottom and again--very nice looking. Came quickly, too!

Thought that the product would be a little thicker it looks And feels like it might break easily especially if someone puts a glass on top of it that might have liquid and ice in it

While it is a nice gift, I felt that that white/silver imprint could stand out a little more. It seems to blend in with the dark gray slate somewhat.

The engraving on my coasters was well done and as advertised. However, the coasters are a bit thin and don't seem very durable.

These coasters look very nice. My only disappointment lies in the fact that the engraving does not appear in bright contrast to the slate as pictured. You actually have to look at an angle to be able to see the engraving clearly. They are nice coasters and seem to be high quality. I'm just disappointed that you can't read them as easily as I'd hoped. Perhaps they could be painted and sealed to show the engraving with some contrast.

I personally would have liked something with more of a clean finish. I didn't read other reviews on this item. They are definitely not coaster I can use in my very contemporary home.
The engraving I'm happy with. But the unfinish, feel,texture is not to my liking. I was pleased with the turn around time of the order. The packing was very good as well.

The coasters were thinner and lighter than expected, which I would have been ok with if the monogram was perfect. Instead my order of 4 coasters had only 1 intact. The other 3 had either chips in the monogram or gold glitter smeared on the monogram. I requested a replacement and received 4 new coasters. All four coasters looked scuffed on the edges and one had a corner that was chipped. This is a gift for a client and since I already spent more time than I wanted to on this, I just picked 4 of the best looking out of the 8 I received. Not what I wanted to gift my client or any future client so won't be ordering this again.
