Great remembrance on their Confirmation Day and throughout life! “May your faith in the Lord guide you.”

Were purchased for our children from an aunt, and they came in perfectly wrapped. The inscription is a plus, and very nice. However wish there was more room for the name of the person giving the compass as it will be a forever shared gift. We managed to squeeze it in with the date somehow!

I was happy to see this item when it arrived, and my nephew thought it was a cool gift. The message is not so much "engraved" as it is "printed," but it was done well and my nephew liked seeing his name on the top plate. One note—As a gift, this little compass would benefit from a small decorative box. The little box it arrives in is covered in origin stickers and bar codes, that—when peeled—destroy the box. I had to put this in a nice box so it would be presentable as a gift. The little cardboard box would be fine, but maybe PM should consider leaving the stickers off. Also, I was a little bummed to pay about $75 for this item and, upon returning to write a review, discover that the price had dropped to $49 in that short time—whatever. Ultimately, I do recommend this item as well as this web site for nice gifts and good turnaround service. I merely offer the above as a little heads up to the next buyer. Cheers!

The compass, engraving and case are beautiful! Not sure of the compass accuracy, if it is accurate or decorative. It is a gift for our confirmand. I am pleased with my purchase.

The color of the mahogany is really more of a black. At first I thought they had sent the black version, but since it had the gold insert, it must be mahogany... Also, it arrived with a minor flaw in the top.

I purchased this for my grandson's First Communion. He seemed to like it but he is a Boy Scout and into outdoor activities so began to use it as a compass. I am not sure how good this item would be for taking around to use for that purpose. I think that it is more or less commemorative. It does look nice and sends a religious message.

Very nice item. A little off centered that’s why only 4 stars. I was able to straighten the engraved plate a bit. It’ll work. It will be a memorable keepsake.

The Mahogany doesn't look like wood, at first I thought I accidently ordered the black. It's dark shiny plastic with a kind of brown color. The engraved plate also has 2 tiny notches / cutouts that look like a mistake but it's not a mistake as you can see them if you look very carefully in the preview photo.

No issues with shipping or engraving. I do have a problem with the compass looking black instead of Mahogany.

I ordered 1 gold compass in mahogany and 1 silver compass in black case. The silver one fits in the case much better than the gold one. The gold one falls out of the case. I would have returned it but I needed it for a gift and didn’t have the time to reorder. The engraving and promptness of shipping is 5 star but couldn’t give a 5 star review! And the price is pretty decent also for the quality of the gift. At least for the silver one.

The compass and engraving are nice but the outer part looks like black plastic. It looks like something that should be 1/2 the price.

I ordered this in mahogany for my grandson's confirmation. When it arrived it was in nice condition, but calling the color mahogany is a bit of a stretch. It's more black than anything. It's nice and good quality, but not what I expected color-wise. I called in and I'm sure they would have worked with me, but I don't want to take the chance of the replacement not showing up in time.

The actual compass does not look like the color in the picture. It looks almost black in color.

I was excited about this for my nephew's graduation but it is cheap, poor quality. The engraving was off center and crooked. For the cost, I expected better. I'm hesitant to even give it to him because it looks so shotty. I do not recommend this for the price they're asking.
