Family Tree Personalized Sterling Silver Birthstone Necklace - 4 Stones

VERY UNHAPPY! The chain and the pendant were not put together. I guess I'm supposed to do that but I've tried many times to attach them with no success. Why wasn't it all assembled before it was shipped? I'll keep trying but I'm afraid I'll break the little hook that attaches the parts together. I paid quite a bit but it wasn't worth it!

I had high hopes for this piece for my mother in law for Christmas. The center piece with the jewels seems ok (hence the 2 stars), but it is the outer metal piece with all the engraved names that looks and feel CHEAP. It is a thin slice of metal that I could probably bend with my hands if I tried. The back of it says Made in China in LARGE letters. I am questioning whether this is really sterling silver. It is disappointing for the price and I got it on Cyber Monday for $97.
