Rinse cutting board with a warm soapy cloth
Preserve with mineral oil on a regular basis to avoid drying the wood out; do not wash in the dishwasher. Oil after every use. If only used for display you still must oil at least once a month.
Natural wood knots and other variations in the wood may appear through the engraved design. These are not considered imperfections

I got this board for my husband who loves to cook and he also uses an old cutting board as a desk on his lap when eating in the living room or working on small projects. I thought he would use the board for that, but instead it is displayed in our dining room! It looks fabulous! Too nice to use!
