These boards are so beautiful. I expected some nice wood grain and a good quality engraving, but these boards really delivered more than I expected. They are absolutely beautiful. If I had to pick on one thing, I would say they could use some non-slip backing to keep them from sliding all over the counter when in use, but you could really easily buy some stoppers and adhere them. The juice well is nice and deep, which is something not frequently done on cutting boards, and the weight is perfect (substantial but not overbearing). I bought 4 of these boards for gifts. After I received them, I decided I should go back and buy one for myself. They are very nicely done, and really the best value out there for a personalized cutting board. I highly recommend them!

The workmanship is very clean and the wood grain is very beautifil. This gift will be given to a special niece as a wedding gift. I will be proud to give it to the newlyweds.

I think this cutting board is mostly for decoration. Anything cut on it seeps into the engraved letter, making chicken a dangerous thing to chop on it, lest you get raw chicken juice on everything else you cut afterwards. This board is NOT meant to be washed either. The glue holding the wood pieces together will come right off and you will be left with just wooden planks. But if you're looking for a cutting board to display around the holidays, but not use, this is a great purchase.
