His guitar picksBy Shopper (Midland, TX) - May 11, 2012 He loved them alot.
|
size optionswell the picks are great but i would have liked to see them come in different kinds of sizes... like the ones you gave me and thick and i have thinner ones i can use but i think it would be helpful if we (as the shoppers) could choose the size of the guitar poicks we recieve. or even better get a variety box :P thanks

Great Idea-- bad executionBy Shopper (New York, NY) - February 7, 2012 I love the personalized guitar picks but only half of my order came aligned properly. A little disappointing.
|
SMellyBy Shopper (Horseheads, NY) - January 3, 2012 These picks smell like alcohol or something.. and the color comes off when you play guitar with it.. cute but they could be a lot better quality!!

Guitar picksBy Shopper (Highlands Ranch, CO) - December 31, 2011 I was pretty unhappy with the way the photo i chose was centered on the pick. I wish there was a way to preview finished product before it was created and shipped. The font on the reverse side was also very small.

becareful of the color combo you pickBy Shopper (Dallas, TX) - December 29, 2011 I loved the picture side of the pick but I picked black and red for the personalization and you couldn't read the name or the inscription. So dissapointed, they were a Christmas gift and my nephew couldn't read his name!

OK By Shopper (Cordova , SC) - December 4, 2011 The gutair picks were ok. The writting on the back was a problem you could only see it well on half of the picks but the other half looked good. Also the picture was a little blurry & they were smaller than expected..

averageEasy to create your personalized picks. Pictures are very small, picks very hard but still a good item as gift

Smaller picture than shownBy Shopper (Corinth, TX) - November 25, 2011 I love this gift, but the picture is not as close up as it appears in the sample. Zoom in just a little more than you think you need to.

Picture not exactBought this as a Christmas gift for my son - know nothing about picks in general, but seems to be of good quality. Picture on the front didn't crop exactly as my proof online showed, which was a little disappointing bc of the type of picture it was. I'm sure my 16 year old will never notice, but just wanted to give fair warning to future purchasers if the outer edges of the cropping are important. I spent a lot of time getting the image to look just as I wanted since the "warning" statement says there will be no changes once submitted. I was aiming for a wrap around effect with the "WIT" sign on the front. Unfortunately, in the final product....to the left of the "W" there a sharp black square edge so the wrap around effect is a bit lost. Probably not important for other types of pictures, just for this one.....was hoping for an "exactly as the picture appears" version.

Nice picks, but. . .I ordered customized guitar picks. They're nice picks, but I'd liked to have had a choice in thickness. Also, the logo I provided was printed a little off center. I ended up paying $0.65 each for them, which is a little much for a guitar pick, even if it is personalized. The quoted price was $0.50 each, but the shipping came to $0.15 each. Too much. If I order again, I'll have to get a much better deal and better service.

It looked so much better onlineBy Shopper (Moorpark, CA) - May 14, 2021 I ordered personalized guitar picks for a musician friend's milestone birthday. The photo turned out great but the printing on the back was way too small. I used red on black and it barely shows up. It's a cute gift but could have looked so much better.

bad qualitytoo expensive for what it really is

Not what I expectedBy Shopper (DICKSON CITY, PA) - June 22, 2012 I wanted to give a good review, but I can't . The printing and the picture on these picks, is dark and very hard to read. I ordered black background, with red font. Well, what I found out was, these are white picks, colored black. After an hour of use, the black wears off leaving you with a colorful pick. Maybe these are just a novelty item, and not for actual use! Wish I didn't order a hundred!! The thing I like the most, is that you can put any thing you want on the picks. For a novelty , that you don't want to use , is what you'll get. Wish they would be more legible !

Dissapointed..Well, I'm glad everyone loved them. I bought a set to send to grandpa from the grandkids and they arrived in a timely manner and looked great. When we called grandpa to see how he liked them he said they look nice but won't be able to play his acoustic guitar with them because they are too hard and would break the strings. So anyways, that's why I give them 2 stars.

Nice idea for a giftBy Shopper (Upper Sandusky, OH) - April 6, 2012 This is a cool idea to get for someone, but they don't always come out like you wanted them to. I was a little disappointed.

awful chemical smellBy Shopper (Croton on Hudson, NY) - January 16, 2018 I ordered these with family pictures on them. The final product looked quite nice and the photo was clear with good colors. However, there is a toxic chemical smell to them that just won't fade despite airing them out for more than two weeks. It is absolutely unusable. Truly, it smells like it is flammable. Perhaps if you don't put a photo on them and instead only words it will be fine. But since they are advertised with a photo I had no reason to assume it was a problem. Very disappointed in this product.

Poor pic qualityI loved this idea so much but when i received them the pic though grear resolutiin that i used was not very good on such a small product

Not HappyTried to put a photo of my late 25 year old Daughter playing her guitar on a guitar pick. Once the proof was completed it displayed the photo exactly where I wanted it, however once I received the guitar picks it was just a photograph of my Daughter's face on the pick. (Her guitar was not showing) I mailed the proof and one of the picks back to the company and the response was the item was manufactured correctly in their opinion. I strongly this agree with their response. I have read and scanned through almost all of the customer testimonials and did not see one negative review which is hard to believe. As it stands now I will not use this site or recommend it to anyone else.

Poor, poor quality controlBy Shopper (Brentwood, TN) - March 28, 2011 This is a great concept but I would purchase from somewhere else. Images on the picks were cropped beyond what I submitted (chopping off tops of heads), the writing on the back of the picks was NOT centered, and the color quality is not nearly as vivid as the on-line proof appears. I contacted Personalization and they agreed to give me an additional 20% off of my order or return the entire purchase for a full refund. We'll see how the return and refund goes. More trouble than they were worth. Personalization Mall is just going to throw away what I return anyway so why not just a refund or remake?!?!?!?
