Kirkland Resident This is the third flag enclosure I have ordered for friends and relatives. As usual, I received a good quality enclosure with the information engraved as ordered. I have alway been happy with the quality of the product and plan on buying others in the future if and when a veteran that I know dies. To whom I have given these have very much appreciated the gift!

For my nephew graduating from Officer Training School in Fort Gordon, GA I've had my Dad's military flag (presented to me at his funeral as the oldest child) since 2004- I've had it wrapped in plastic sitting on a closet shelf ,wondering what to do with it to honor him. He served in the Army 1943-46 discharged as 1st lieutenant. Fast forward to June 2017. On June 21, 2017, my nephew graduated from officer training school in Fort Gordon, GA- Army , 2nd lieutenant.I then had my Ah- Ah moment.I will give the flag to my nephew as a graduation gift.I was just going to send the flag to him wrapped in plastic till my daughter suggested a display case. So, I quickly googled "flag display cases" and Personalization mall was the first one to pop up- with a special price for Father's Day. The container was delivered to me on time - very nice - mahagony with glass engraving - perfectly inscripted with what I wanted. I then had to carefully open the sturdy box it came in ,insert the flag, seal it up and then ship it off to Fort Gordon. Mission accomplished.Thanks

Personalization on glass frosted not white :( Solid construction and great quality. Disappointed in the personalization as the lettering is frosted not white as the picture indicates, hence, not very visible and hard to read against the flag.

Beautiful flag case By Shopper (Hudson, WI) - March 17, 2017 I am very pleased with the flag case, with one exception--the name etching is not totally visible when white stars are under certain lettering. I plan to add a name plaque to put on the wood trim at the bottom of it!

first time buyer Case is beautiful. However, would have been happier if the engraving was whiter (like the online picture) to show the name better against the flag. Nice idea to personalize the flag case.

Personalized Flag Case I was very pleased with the flag case, the only reason I gave it four stars is from the photo on the website the lettering looked white, however it is more transparent and does not show up as well through the white stars on the flag. The quality of the case it good though. Overall I am happy.

Flag The personalized flag came quickly and was just as ordered. The flag fit perfectly and the case itself is beautiful. The only complaint is the lettering was a little difficult to read once the flag was inserted. Maybe a different color of lettering would stand out better?

Good Quality - Words Hard to See By Shopper (Elgin, IL) - December 15, 2015 Overall the quality of the product is excellent. However upon receipt, I was disappointed that the words are hard to read unless you are right up close to it. In the picture, it looked much "whiter" against the blue of the flag, making it easier to read from a distance.

American Hero Personalized Flag Case The flag case is very nice...good quality. I was very disappointed that the engraved personalization does not show up enough. It definitely does not show up like it does in your picture. It's etched in but it didn't have the white lettering like it did in your picture.

Coming out of the closet My father-in-law's flag has been stored in the closet for 58 years. Finally, I have an attractive display case to store it in. I think he would be pleased. The case is a nice addition to our home and will be a conversation piece going forward. The quality is what I hoped for. However, the lettering shows up nicely over the blue but is hard to see over the white stars.

Love the piece! I love the memorial flag display case. It was one more way of honoring my brother-in-law, and allows us to continue honoring him every time we look at it. The case is beautifully crafted, it arrived in perfect condition and it was easy to insert the flag. The ordering process was fast and easy and I love how it gave me an actual picture of what the piece would look like with my requested personalization before I placed the order. It also arrived in an extremely reasonable time frame. my only disappointment is that the lettering is a little light and can only be read close up, not quite as easy to read from a distance as represented. But still very nice, and I am extremely satisfied.

 The letters are difficult to readBy Shopper (Farmingdale, NY) - October 5, 2021 The frame is nice and it was delivered very quickly. But the etching is not as dark white as it appears in all of the pictures for the product (or in the reviews). It is difficult to read the letters. You'll notice that most of the pictures in the reviews are Preview photos and not actual photos from customers. You can tell because they are all on the white mantel next to the white flowers. You will see the comparison in my photo (the bottom picture is my product compared to what they claim it will look like in the top picture). It is just very difficult to read and the lettering does not stand out as much as they make it appear in the samples.

Cannot read the name easily By Shopper (Altoona, IA) - June 1, 2020 The case is pretty and the lettering is etched well. The only issue we have with this is the letters are not solid white like they appear online. It is difficult to read the name of my father in law or the military branch he was in. We are a little disappointed in that aspect.

Not real cherry wood The description says cherry but be advised it is only stain not real cherry wood. There are many other less expensive stained wood flag frames. That said the glass etching was nice and if its really made in America still worth the price.

Not as impressed as others By Shopper (Bakersfield, CA) - June 28, 2019 Overall, it's a nice frame. Flag fits perfect. But when I look at the pictures submitted by other reviewers, I become quite disappointed in the personalization of the frame. I can see their loved one's name without a problem. But my husband's name is etched very lightly. I can't even see the "J" in Joseph because it blends in with the white star behind it. Maybe I chose the wrong font. I don't know. But sure wished my husband's name and military branch could be seen much better. It does not look at all like the preview photo. If it did, I would be pleased. Really, really light writing.

Slightly disappointed I’m happy with the look of the product and it seems to be well made. The only problem I have is like many others have said the engraving is too light and can barely be seen. After having so many reviews saying the exact same thing I’m not sure why they won’t darken the engraving to look like the picture that’s shown on the website.

Nice but.. Nice case and engraving but the wall hook screws are so long that they dig into the flag when closed and the clasps don't hold the Frame back in tight

Flag case back By Shopper (Centereach, NY) - August 24, 2015 The case itself is fine and made in the USA, the flag just about fits.
I have issue with the cheap back of the case. The back is made from pressed cardboard that does not fit. The clasps are to short to keep it closed.
I wish the back could have been made of wood and longer clasps.
I do like the personalization.

A little disappointed By Shopper (Grantham, NH) - April 5, 2014 The picture in your ad for the Personalized Flag Case shoed very distinct lettering. It was in white and, in the picture, it really stood out. When we got the case, the lettering was much less distinct. It was etched in the glass, and it does not "show up" as it does in the advertisement on your website. Even the photo in this review is more distinct than on the case we received from you.

Letters on display case By Shopper (Bonifay, FL) - October 25, 2013 I gave this item only 3 stars because of the letters etched in the glass.
Also I'm not sure it's even glass. On the web site the letters are white and bold. The one I received the letters are neither white or bold. If the light is not just right it's difficult to read my Dad's name. Other than this negative the case seems to be well made. I'm not sure I would purchase this item again.

Good Quality But Design Flaw By Shopper (Port Washington, NY) - October 8, 2013 The case is solid and of good quality. I was also pleased that the flag fit so easily into the case. The design flaw is that, unlike the photos on the website, there is insufficient contrast between the white lettering on the glass against the white stars on the flag and so those letters disappear and the full name can not be read. I am going to try to insert some navy fabric to improve he contrast.

While beautiful, we had issues... My daughter recently lost her boyfriend due to a tragic motorcycle accident; he was also a marine. At the funeral, the marines presented her with the flag. In order to properly display it I bought her this product. When it arrived, she was excited to put the flag in it. And when she did, and tried to close the back, the glass completely shattered. As I know she is still under so much stress and grief, I thought maybe she just jammed it in too hard- so I ordered another one (like I said, it is a beautiful product). However, when the second one arrived, I helped her in putting it in the display. We still could not get the back to close, but did not push this time. Perhaps the young marines that folded it did not do so properly? A few of her marine friends are going to try to refold it for her- a little tighter. In the meantime, we do not have the back on, and have it propped in the corner of a shelf.

flag case? By Shopper (brimfield, MA) - January 29, 2013 i thought the box was extremely light weight for what i purchased. when i opened it i realized the case was more like a shadow box with a picture frame back and not an actual case that opened. it had a small scratch on the front which i didn't appreciate considering the amount of bubble wrap used to protect it.
i should have fussed but the flag fit perfectly and it does look nice but it's no case. it's a shadow box or frame.
