I bought this as a gift for a college graduate. The time for the sand to go through is always below an hour within a 12 minute period and never consistently, e.g., sometimes 48 minutes, sometimes 50, never over 52. While I realize this isn't a product with exact timing, I expected it to be closer to an hour than it is. Huge disappointment.

Definitely not worth the money. The inscription is small and difficult to read . Embarrassing to give as a gift . Looks cheap.

The inspirational saying is so light in color it is dufficult to see and read. Words should be darker. Very disappointed.

Bought as a retirement gift. Was very disappointed. A lot smaller than it appears but most of all, could not read the inscription. Was not big enough and writing was far from bold enough!! They should have done it in large black bold letters. Not worth the money! Maybe, as a consolation gift at best. Was thoroughly embarrassed as an 80yr. old man could not even read it!! Should have been a total refund!!
