I saw a couple of reviews claiming that it was cheaply built, that is not true. It is a compass, the needle has to be able to spin easily, don't mistake that for poor workmanship. Would definitely recommend.

Winner winner I bought this for a family friend’s son who was getting confirmed. I held my breath as he opened it as he is a typical hard to please, kinda grumpy, life bites kind of 14 year old teenager. His eyes lit up and he looked so surprised. He loved it! A fantastic gift for my husband When my new husband (last husband passed away in 2015) opened the box, he was surprised. This gift was so great, he couldn't stop grinning.
