The most adorable concept for family ornaments - Papa, Mama and bear cub families. These are very well-made and could be displayed year-round. I especially liked the natural wood look - nothing Christmassy about them, which I also like. The lettering style is timeless - will never look dated. I bought these as a gift for a family member and was so impressed with them, I will likely purchase them for my own family too. The only reason I am giving 4 stars rather than 5 is how they smelled. There was a very strong burnt, smokey smell to them. I'm assuming from the wood being engraved/burnt for personalization. But the smell was very intense - they smelled like they had been sitting in a smokers house for a year. I hung them to air out for several days (before wrapping), hoping the smell would diminish some. Hard to say if it did - it was just so strong. I'm hoping it will go away with time. Other than that - they are perfect, the burnt smell doesn't deter me from purchasing again, as they are so well-made.
