The box is solid, big enough and spacious inside to hold a wood bead rosary, not just a tiny bead rosary. The inscription is lovely, though the date is a bit small to read.

I purchased this as a first communion gift. The box is very nice and I loved the engraving, however it is very very small. I do not think the price was worth this size.
