I really like the extra large size. My counters are not heat resistent so this is nice to set hot pots/pans on. I also used it to cut large roasts and the edging around it caught all the juices. I would recommend this product.

This arrived in great shape and well wrapped. It is excellent quality and is a gift to friends who just reno'd their kitchen.

This is the second one of these I have bought. They are both very nice. The wood surfaces are very smooth; no rough parts. It is very high quality. Something I learned with the first board is to avoid putting it away damp. You can get a bit of mildew in the letters, which naturally are difficult to dry. I cleaned them out with a toothbrush and a bit of bleach, but now I don't put it away until it's completely dry. The new board will only be a cheese board, so won't need to be soaked to get clean.
