My brother and his wife celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary and since they don't drink alcohol, I thought this was a good option. I carefully opened a case of name brand (PS) water, took off the labels, and put these on. I decided it was best to only peel off the backing about 1/2 inch from the edge and cut because the section of the bottle to adhere was rippled and was afraid the sticky label would adhere within these ripples and be a mess. Keeping the backing on made them thicker and this wasn't a problem with the appearance at all. The sticky part I left was enough to join edges on the back of the bottles and keep the labels in place.
They were THRILLED with the personalized water bottles - so thrilled they didn't even want to drink them!!! They did each take a bottle to work to display on their desks (and show off) and one to have as a keepsake on a shelf at home. I was happy that there were several extra labels just in case of an OOPS. It took about 45 minutes to an hour to do a case of water.
My only reason for a four star review - the font for the names was not a great choice and the "and" symbol looked odd.
