The picture is exactly as I wanted it. It looks and feels as if the image was printed on the bisque then glazed and fired. This was a gift for my mother in law on our first Christmas without my husband and her son. She adores ornaments that mean things on her Christmas tree. But the quality is so good, she can keep it out all year round.

Excellent quality, beautiful design A very nice quality product with a nice high gloss finish; and the perfect size too. The item was shipped out within a few days and arrived within a week (to upstate NY).
I ordered the "do it yourself" gift box and it adds a very nice touch.
The only advice I would provide for other buyers is to ensure the photo you provide/upload is a "little bit brighter than normal" because the photo will darken slightly when it is put on to the ornament.

Well worth the time This is more than I imagined! To take a photo and shrink it to a size of a postage stamp and still maintain details and colors is amazing; yet, this is what happened! I chose a verse for the back and a photo with name and statistics for the front. It turned out beautiful. It came in a black bag, and had a gold tie to hang it. When sent with a sympathy card, it makes a beautiful gift.
I also purchased several in memory of my mother, and distributed them to her children and grandchildren. All of them were touched by the memory and loved the gift.
