I ordered this throw for my elderly mom. When it came it I was shocked at how soft and cozy it was. I knew the names were not embroidered on it after reading other reviews, so I thought they were painted on. Much to my surprise, it doesn't feel like paint. You can run your hand over the entire throw and it is super soft everywhere. My mom loved seeing all her kids, grandkids and great grand kids names on it. She was in tears. Would order again in a heartbeat
