I have ordered many of these as gifts over the years. I like the personalization and my gift receivers seem to really enjoy it. My only complaint is that since it is a larger size it requires an extra shipping charge. I don't mind paying the extra fee but the package arrives very damaged. I usually order more than 1 of these at a time for various people, so the gift boxes get taped together and shipped as 1 unit instead of being put in another box to protect them during shipment. There have only been a couple times the boxes were placed within another box for shipping. I really prefer that since I hate giving the gift in a box that looks beat up.

The board is very pretty. However, the wood feels very light and I’m wondering how it is going to hold up. I wish drain and handles were also on back side because recipient said it was too pretty to use.

The board was a good size. Nice Lettering. Board was rougher wood in some parts. Would have been nicer, for a gift, it was a bit more sanded and polished.

Would like it better if the initial was smaller and the typeface below were larger. Overall good quality and very glad I purchased the stand to go along with it.

Bought this for wedding shower gift. I love the personalization of the board. My only negative is, I wish the font size of the saying beneath the name was a tad larger. It is a little bit difficult to read.

This was my first order and I am extremely pleased with the appearance of the tray. The lettering was well done. It is really nice as a gift. I will place future orders for gifts from this company.

This arrived very quickly. Everything was spelled correctly. It is a nice heavy cutting board. I just wish the lettering was darker, some of the words are hard to see.

The wood is not smooth enough for a cutting board

These are nice cutting boards. I wish the names showed up a little better, but overall very pleased with these. The people we gave them to all loved them.

My order finally came in 4 days beyond the promised delivery. It could have been the fedex issue but it’s fine with me. It is nice and looks well made. I just hope the lettering will be a little more pronounced so it can be visible 10 feet from it. Over all, I’m happy with my piece. Is there a way I could enhance the tone of the lettering? Thank you.

Overall I love this cutting board. It is truly beautiful and good quality. The only negative is the wood was a bit rough. My husband sanded it with some steal wool and it's perfect now.

Very pretty as a wedding gift but I expected a finer texture. It is quite rough when you run your hand across it. Size is larger than expected, great for a charcuterie board.

Well, I loved the maple wood & the board is overall beautiful - it's just that the word 'home'.... looks like it says 'horne'. The letter 'm', the 1st loop in the 'm' is away from the other two loops so it stands apart a little. Otherwise, it is beautiful! No worries about it, we'll take it as is. It's for my sons' wedding gift and wedding is 4/10! Thank you! I am overall happy with my purchases!

You should have been able to choose the font you wanted.
it is hard to read the cursive writing.

I was very happy with my cutting board.

The quality and style of this board is fantastic. The personalization is extremely faint. You can hardly see the letter or the name. Very disappointing. See my attached photo.

I purchased this as a gift for a friend who just built a new home and I am sure she will like it as much as I do. They only complaint that I have is that the engraving should be a little darker. It's very light engraving on a light board which makes it a little difficult the read. Other than that suggestion, I really like it.

The engraving is beautiful I only wish it was darker so that it would show up more.

This cutting board is very nicely engraved. I only gave it 4 stars because the engraving could be darker and more consistent. Some of the areas were verly light. The board looked better after oiling it. I will give it another oiling to hopefully get the letters darker. Also would have like the wood to have more grain in it.

I bought this for a Christmas gift and it is beautiful. Very nicely made and now I want one for myself.

Wished the letter and name were a bit darker in color

The board was just the right size and was nicely done. I just wish the dyed lettering was a bit bolder. It was a lightest yellow orange coloring and should have maybe been more brown like in the photo above.

Loved this gift for my clients.... the only little beef I have is that it was a little to hard to read the inscription. Needs to be darker to stand out on block! Other than that, perfect gift idea!!!

I loved the quality of the board. The only reason I held back 1 star was because I felt the writing could have been just a little darker. Worried that it will fade over time. We will see.

Got this for my daughter and her family. She loved it and wants to display it. I wanted them to use it, but she said it’s too beautiful. I would’ve given it 5 stars if the personalization was a little darker. It’s kinda light and I feel will be removed easily if used over time.

Ordered the personalized 12x17 cutting board for a wedding gift & it turned out beautiful! Love “The Heart of a happy home is family” logo. Will be ordering again. Only suggestion would be to include instructions on how to care for the wood.

My order came faster than expected and was just as described. The lettering was beautiful but I do wish it were cut deeper into the wood. My concern is that if the recipients use the board for actual cutting then the lettering may not last over time. The board is good quality and looks very nice. I do recommend oiling the wood as it seemed very dry. Overall, I would purchase again. It made a lovely wedding gift and the couple was very pleased.

This makes a great wedding gift! Love that you can personalize it. Shipped quickly. The initial letter was not centered on the board, slightly off to the right, but that was how it was displayed in the sample before I made the purchase. Although board was not damaged, the box it was shipped in arrived rather beaten. I'm currently looking for a replacement because I don't want to give the recipients the item in a damaged box.

I really regret not getting the larger one. This one is ok, but definitely not how it used to be made when I got one a few years ago.

I had reviewed comparable boards on other websites like Amazon and found the cost for this product to be reasonable. The wood and carving quality is very nice. I would have preferred they allow the customer to select which side of the board the carving personalization should be done on.

This came as a beautiful product. The engraving was very nice. The board seems of good quality, however there was a huge vertical, dark (almost appears burnt) line across the wood. I was disappointed. It appears the board is burnt. I emailed quality to get replacement and they said that’s just how the wood is. Bummer.

I was a little disappointed in the personalization due to the fact that it was extremely light and I was giving this cutting board as a housewarming gift.Knowing that this can occur with the woodgrain, You may want to consider purchasing the oil which does help darken the personalization a little. I do not plan on ordering any futyre cutting boards due to the issue with woodgrain/personalization.
